History

Established since 1976 Parkgate Estate Agents have been serving the local area for the past 35 years. Five years ago Jonathan Mills took over the existing company and transformed this from a lettings agency to a fully fledged estate agency. Jonathan has lived in the area all his life and attended the local schools and most of the bars, restaurants and cafes (there are a lot of these!)

Offering sales, lettings and property management services the company has since grown to two offices and twelve members of the team.

The transformation has been completed by Marc Roberts coming on board as a full partner in the business and he now runs our Richmond site and Jonathan the Putney office.

Estate agents are often tarnished with the same old stereotype of uncaring individuals who put their company first and the clients second, always late and never have the right information. Unfortunately I have to admit I am ashamed of our profession sometimes but we are not all the same. The values installed in Parkgate are clear, we aim to:

This is vital to you! There is no waiting around to hear what is going on as we will be in touch on a daily or weekly basis, whichever you prefer. We can let you know what the market is telling us and therefore what we could do to improve your chance of getting the best price.

2. No Saturday staff showing your property!

Ever been to a property and the person showing knew little or nothing about it? This will not be your experience with us as all viewings are conducted by a fully trained negotiator who will know your property and will be able to answer any questions you may have.

3. Professional photos and floorplans for all sales and lettings properties

The biggest source of enquiries these days is the internet. It is vital that your property is presented to its maximum potential so we guarantee a professional photographer will attend at a time convenient to you so we can show off your property to our buyers. Each property also has a floorplan so the buyer will know what they are looking at and therefore not waste anybody’s time.

4. Senior manager to call you back within 24 hours if you have any issues

As we are an independent agency and we believe in traditional customer service we guarantee that a senior staff member who is able to make decisions will call you back within 24 hours if you ever have any questions or concerns.
